Red and White editorial work inspiration

FOCUS ON THE RED, WHITE AND BLACK COLOUR SCHEME WITHIN REDUCTRESS WEBSITE FOR PHYSICAL WORK. 

The mixture between collaging and photography seem to work the best in the various designs I looked at for inspiration. They are simple, straight forward and communicate a message well. Illustrations will have to hold the same values if I am to incorporate them into the work. After looking at various 'red and white editorial' work I also realised quickly that to have just red as a colour would be difficult - many incorporate an additional colour such as blue or green or use black. Going back onto the Reductress website made me realise that they use black for titles and articles, which allows me to use this colour. 

The way these designs play around with layout, different types and images is definitely something to look at. I just have to work out what particular way I want to do this that works with the theme of satirical feminism and with the audience.
